Material Acceptance & SGS Inspections

Because our business operates purely within wholesale base metals and commercial scrap metal distribution, all standard retail consumer protection laws, return periods, and typical consumer refunds are strictly inapplicable. All sales are definitively bound by pre-shipment quality controls.

  • The primary “source of truth” regarding material purity, chemical weight composition, and grade confirmation is the independent inspection report (e.g., SGS certification) executed at the loading port before shipment transit.

Quality Discrepancy Claims

In the rare event that a material composition conflict occurs at the destination custom zone:

  • The buyer must file a formal, documented trade dispute claim within seven (7) business days of container arrival at the discharge port.

  • Claims must be supported by a secondary, independent metallurgical assay test report executed by an accredited international inspection authority matching identical sample test methodologies.

Resolution Framework

If independent testing authenticates that a material batch is out of compliance with the signed Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA), the issue will be resolved exclusively through:

  1. Price Adjustment: Re-calculating the shipment value based on the verified secondary smelting yield values or purity levels.

  2. Replacement Allocation: Shipping a replacement batch of matching compliant raw material in the next rolling delivery cycle.

  3. Credit Note: Issuing a validated corporate financial credit applied directly toward subsequent commodity allocations.
